Bertrand Horvath
Rev. Bertrand Horvath
Bertrand Horvath was sued in 2002 and accused of abuse of an altar boy at Mission Viejo in the early 1970s, before the Orange diocese was formed. Horvath’s order sued the L.A. archdiocese to force them to share responsibility. He left the archdiocese in 1974, then worked in several dioceses, including Amarillo for many years. Horvath was later placed on leave and retired in 2001 after the Diocese of Orange notified the Diocese of Amarillo of the abuse. He is now deceased and was included on the Las Vegas diocese’s list from 4/12/19.
If you or someone you love was sexually abused by a priest or someone else associated with the Catholic Church, please contact Paul and his team to learn about the new law and to ensure your rights are protected.
