Father Anthony Bolger

Anthony Bolger was ordained for Diocese of Santa Rosa and excardinated to Honolulu on 6/18/84. He was accused of abusing a boy at St Anthony’s in Kailua from 1978 to 1981. Bolger was a teacher at the school.

A civil suit was filed on 5/8/13. Same plaintiff says he was abused by Bishop Ferrario while Ferrario was still a priest at St. Anthony’s. Bolger was possibly named as an accused (but not defendant) in original suit against Ferrario.

Anthony Bolger died on 1/7/15 in Tijuana, Mexico, where he had been living. He was included on the Santa Rosa diocese’s list on 1/12/19. It notes he was accused in 1994 of abuse of a minor 1972-73, and that Honolulu was notified in 1994.

If you or someone you love was sexually abused by a priest or someone else associated with the Catholic Church, please contact Paul and his team to learn about the new law and to ensure your rights are protected.
