Joe Robles Jr. Arrested on Charges of Child Sexual Assault

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, September 26th, 2019 administrators at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale, California, which is in the Corona-Norco School Districts, informed the Department, that the Cross Country and Track and Field coach, Joe Robles Jr. allegedly had improper relationships with several female students. After investigating the allegations, according to news reports, Joe Robles Jr. was charged with three counts of unlawful intercourse with a minor, seven counts of annoying a child under the age of 18-years-old, two counts of possession of child pornography, one count of oral copulation with a minor and a sentence-enhancing allegation of targeting multiple victims in a sex crime after being arrested at his Ontario, California home on October 11th.

High School Track & Field Coach Alleged to Have Had Improper Relationships With Students

The criminal complaint against Robles alleges four female students were sexually abused by Joe Robles Jr. from August 2014-July 2017. After arresting and seizing evidence, the investigators determined that Joe Robles Jr. was in contact with former and current students at the school via social media.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff the investigation into Robles Jr. is on-going and the Department urges anyone with relevant information to come forward. Despite the trauma and embarrassment, victims of child sexual abuse need to understand the abuse is not their fault.
