According to news reports, Thomas Close, an adult volunteer with Troop 406 in Richland County, Ohio was arrested this week on charges of sexual exploitation of children as well as receiving and distributing child pornography . Close has been accused of taking videos of scouts in various stages of undress.
Boys deserve to be in a safe and secure environment when they are participating in the scouting. The BSA has had a problem with adult leader sexually exploiting scouts for almost his entire history.
